Space for technology: Mitutoyo opens showroom in Brasov
A brand-new and highly modern showroom is the new highlight Mitutoyo Romania – one of Mitutoyo Europe’s youngest subsidiaries – boasts. With the new institution at Brasov, the South Europeans already have their second demonstration and training facility on their hand.
On September 29, 2016 Mitutoyo Romania celebrated the official opening of their Brasov new showroom. Numerous celebrities from the Romanian public as well as industry representatives took part in the ceremony. His Excellency Mr. Kisaburo Ishii, Ambassador of Japan in Romania, and President of Mitutoyo Europe GmbH Harumi Aoki held speeches, expressing their congratulations and best wishes to Mitutoyo Romania.
Florin Calin, Director of Mitutoyo Romania, gave the guests a warm welcome - among them university professors, many specialists from several international and domestic companies, managers from Mitutoyo Europe GmbH and executives from other European Mitutoyo sales companies.
The new showroom, 150 sqm in size, was specially designed to give visitors, potential customers and Mitutoyo staff the chance to watch some of the finest measuring devices throughout the world in operation. It facilitates the custom-tailoring of measuring solutions for every task and every customer from all branches. With Romania’s industry growing, the demand for high-precision measuring instruments will soon reach new levels. The new showroom will help the young sales company to supply the current and future demand.
The equipment comprises all product groups the Japanese premium manufacturer carries. At the fore are a highly accurate 3D CNC coordinate measuring machine CRYSTA-Apex S9108 of the latest generation, equipped with tactile scanning probe and laser probe, and a Quick Vision ELF CNC non-contact vision measuring system with outstanding performance. Top-level devices like the Contracer CV-4500 display the latest form measuring technology. And of course, the new showroom is also equipped with the world-wide renowned high-quality handheld measuring devices made by Mitutoyo.
The new Mitutoyo Romania showroom is yet another proof of the measuring instruments specialist’s unprecedented expertise, technology and innovational power.
